Angel of Vengeance is a short student film written and directed by Iain Boulton as his Auteur for the final year of his Film Studies course at BCUC. Throughout the production I helped out with the technical side of things: lighting, cameras, sound and provided a sympathetic ear and constructive criticism during editing.
The plot centres around a hitman whose terrible sense of timing sees him attempting to retire from his organisation during a coup de’etat.
AoV was filmed with the excellent JVC GY-HD100U at standard DV resolution rather than 720p as the editing suites we were using at the University were not yet HDV ready.
